Mechanism of action
Methylcobalamin is the methylated, biologically active form of B12. Acts as a methyl-group donor in nerve myelin sheath maintenance and homocysteine metabolism. Penetrates nerve tissue more effectively than cyanocobalamin — preferred form for clinically established neuropathy.
